Greg Folkins works for advertising agencies and retail stores for catalog and magazine projects on location in Houston and throughout Texas.
As a Houston Furniture Photographer, Greg understands the importance of lighting furniture on location. Greg has mastered lighting techniques that control the variation of furniture textures such as varnished cabinets requiring bigger and more diffused sources of light with larger backgrounds, or softer furniture such as material sofas and bedding requiring more direct, hard light to help “pop” the existing textures while maintaining the effect of natural sunlight.
As a location Houston Furniture Photographer, Greg brings the benefits of studio furniture photography to your location. He brings all the required studio lighting, magazine and catalog resolution digital photography equipment and tethered digital editing computers and software to your location. This unique studio solution provides the benefits of no packing and trucking of furniture and products which means no risk of shipping damage. Furniture can be pulled right off the production line or photographed within the retail stores. Art directors can also monitor the entire process and make changes and edits on site. There are no surprises or disappointments of the final images, designs, backgrounds and art by the end of the project.
